I work at a comic book studio, for real.  This is an older strip, but it’s still not a bad intro to my studiomates.

There are certain types who are there at every single convention.

I originally did this as a Portland-centric strip but it was mostly only funny if you were a)a cartoonist and b) lived in Portland.  Hopefully this is still funny re-vamped.

While I was drawing this, I said to David Hahn, “I’m giving you a Squiggy curl!”  He said, “Why not a SUPERMAN curl?  Why does it have to be SQUIGGY?”  I said, “Because it’s on YOU, David.”

I shared my table with the illustrious Ms. Erika Moen and her feelthy feelthy books.  Probably the best part about this guy was that he had no idea that the back cover had a big wiggly dildo drawn on it, so from my perspective, that’s what he was sniffing.
